About this Role
The Promotions Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales departments to create and implement promotional initiatives with the goals of boosting brand recognition, boosting revenue, and engaging customers. Excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and a love of promotions and events are required of the successful applicant. We are a company that uses Google products so you must be familiar, or willing to familiarize yourself with Google Documents, Spreadsheets, Gmail, Google Analytics, and the rest of their offers.
Responsibilities of the job include
Meet with internal and external department heads or managers to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or products to be advertised.
Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, Review/edit layouts and advertising copies, and edit scripts, audio, video, and other promotional material.
Research articles, journals and professional literature to stay informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect internal or client media planning.
Prepare budgets and submit estimates for media, campaign planning, and other company developments.
Coordinate with management to create/receive advertising feedback.
Monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of promotion
Track program budgets, expenses, and campaign response rates to evaluate each campaign, based on program objectives and industry norms.
Provide presentation and product demonstration during the introduction of new products and services to field staff and clients.
Researching industry trends and converting those trends to social media followers
Managing company/client campaigns; meeting, presentations, budgets, and notes.
Planning special events that draw in prospective customers requires creativity and organizational skills.
Direct and coordinate product/service research and development to be put into analytics/statistics
Conduct research to analyze customers’ behavior (e.g. purchasing habits, trends and preferences)
Design and implement successful promotional campaigns
Set up tracking systems for online promotional activities
Track progress with Promotions Managers and/or Promotions Specialists
Identify and analyze competitors
Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing promotional data
Collaborate with the team to produce promotional materials
Craft clear product promotional copies
Organize promotional activities for new products/services
Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) forecasts
Attend events throughout the year to gather content for promotional use
Assist with on-site event set-up and breakdown
Gathering testimonials and/or data at events
Engage with event attendees while creating a fun, lively, memorable experience for everyone involved.
Create content plans for staff to take photos and videos at each event
Create suggested social media captions for pre, during, and post-event recaps content.
Recruiting students from Universities through the PA region
Attending job fairs, educational seminars, and speaking with classrooms.
Conducting screener calls with potential students
Updating internal candidate information
Share findings with the marketing and promotions manager each week
Ensuring employees follow all policies and procedures
Assessing reports provided by the HR team, team leaders, and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
Suggesting changes in policies and procedures based on employee and company needs
Researching compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
Creating recruitment plans, interview schedules, and evaluation
Attending meetings with other managers, supervisors, internal staff, and clients
Reports to the Marketing and Promotions Manager
Requirements
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED
Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift/move up to 50 lbs
Prior events, marketing, and promotions experience a +++ but not required
Flexible schedule, with the ability and willingness to work varied hours on the weekdays, and weekends.
Must have accessibility to video conference programs such as Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
Since some of our clients are hospitals and/ or medical companies, a COVID vaccination is required.
Resides in counties- Union, Montour, Northumberland, Schuylkill, Luzerne, Lehigh, Snyder, Columbia, Dauphin, Easton, and Cumberland (or willing to travel between 30 minutes and 2.5 hours for events, festivals, marathons, and other company and client related events).
Skills
Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
Experience with research methods using data analytics
Expertise in launching campaigns
Solid computer skills, including MS Office, Google, and other new software systems
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Marketing degree or relevant field
Must be detail-oriented, creative, and organized.
Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction

***This is a contract position; hours will be created around events and fluctuate on a month-to-month basis.
***Our Marketing Coordinator position is a part-time paid position here at DragonTree Media.
***This position will start at an hourly rate of $15 to $20 based on experience.

DragonTree Media Group
The DragonTree Media is conducted in a semi-hybrid environment, including 20% work-from-home opportunities and 80% in-person at events, photoshoots, meetings, retreats, galas/fundraisers, and other organizational-related events. All employees must be willing/able to partake in video conferences and have access to video conference programs such as Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Our team is required to attend in-person meetings with our partners in adherence to DragonTree Media’s health and safety protocols. This part-time position will require 20-37 hours a week if not more depending on the calendar year.
DragonTree Media Group is looking for a Promotions Coordinator that has attention to detail, good communication skills, and an ability to juggle multiple tasks on sometimes short deadlines. In addition, they should have knowledge of all social media platforms and online marketing tools that will help them be more successful in their work. Organizational skills are crucial for this position because it involves managing projects from start to finish on timeframes that work best for everyone involved.
They should be able to create an atmosphere where all DTM team members, clients, and board members feel comfortable sharing their ideas while being able to think outside the box to make those ideas come to life.
